Children & Nursery

Believing that our covenant children are holy before the Lord (I Corinthians 7:14) we encourage parents to have their young children participate in the first 15-20 minutes of our worship service.  This introduces them to the basic elements of worship: singing, prayer, Scripture readings, and the historic creeds of the faith (i.e. The Apostle's Creed or the Nicene Creed).  Should that be unfamiliar or a hardship for visitors we provide a fully-staffed nursery for infants and pre-school children.  Click on the link below to read a more complete explanation of our view towards children in worship.

Youth

We treat our youth as young adults and include them in many of the adult activities of the church.  We hold separate Christian Education classes for them (see Education tab) and look for opportunities where they can serve those in our church or in the community at large.  Some  have expressed interest in short-term mission trips and we are exploring such opportunities.   At this time we are looking to God to provide additional leaders for this important ministry.
